Welcome to the West Valley - Mission Community College District Staff Development website.  This helpful resource is designed to provide you with convenient access to our training calendar, class offering descriptions, monthly newsletter articles and forms.  Please click on the appropriate link to obtain this information.

All Departments may administer a mini-grant program based on budget availability.  These mini-grant programs offer financial support to Faculty, Administrators, and Staff to assist employees in achieving their professional development goals.  Upon approval, mini-grants aid in the funding of conference, seminar and workshop attendance.  To obtain more information or apply for a mini-grant, please select the appropriate Department link.  These links may also provide additional information and forms unique to each Department.

Check the Calendar to find the dates for upcoming Leadership Development Academy Workshops.   Register for sessions by contacting x2151.  During Spring 2009, you can take the Deliver Level workshops from the first year of the LDA by attending WVC Business Departments' BUS100D Special Topic in Business.   It will be 6 sessions held every other Friday morning beginning Feb. 27.  Employees may register and be reimbursed for the class.
